New Year, New Us: Welcoming 2019

New Year, New Us

Everyone in the Office of Future Engineers is thrilled to be back for the new semester after a long break! Vacation was much needed, but we sure missed Purdue!

We like to get our fresh start with some goals or intentions for making this year the best yet. Here's what some of the OFE staff had to say about going into 2019:

"I would like to be more disciplined with my free time in the new year, so I can make the most of it and not waste it away." - Coby English, Social Media Strategist

"I don't believe in resolutions, exactly. But I do believe in setting intentions that I can work towards on a daily basis! In 2019, I'd like to find a better balance between school, work, friends, and me-time!" - Amanda Evans, Copywriting and Social Media Intern

"I'm focused on mindfulness! I'd like to cook more and spend more time on self-care." - Deb Hughes, Pre-College Student Advisor

"I want to read more books!" - Sarah Chandler, Pre-College Student Advisor

"I've been working towards breaking the world record in heaviest pull-up. The record is 230lb and I'm currently at 200!" - Chase LaCoursiere, Pre-College Student Advisor

"I don't like resolutions, but my intention is to go to Asia in the summer." - Aurie Swartz, Assistant Director

"I'd like to be more creative and crafty." - Lindsay Elias, Office Manager

"I've got a 2019 mantra: work to live, don't live to work." - Heather Coar, Assistant Director of Communications

"I'm keeping it simple: I want to have a good semester." - Bradlye Gordon, Web Design Intern

Good luck this semester, Boilermakers!
