One of the benefits of going to a big school like Purdue are
the networking opportunities. Each fall semester, the Purdue Engineering
Student Council hosts a career fair called Industrial Roundtable in which almost
400 companies come to Purdue to personally network with students. Industrial
Roundtable (IR) is one of the largest, student-run career fairs in the country.
These companies look for students to fill internship, co-op, and full-time
openings in their companies. Each year, hundreds of students have found success
at IR, landing summer internships and even jobs for after graduation.
This fall semester will be no exception to the wonderful
opportunities offered through IR. However, registration for the career fair and
an IR 2017 button is required this year. In addition to the actual career fair
(taking place September 12 and 13), there will be a prep night this week and
company seminars the day before the career fair begins. Check out the important dates below and be
sure to register soon!
