MEETING THE WRITERS: JENNIFER POUPLIN

Job Title: Graduate Assistant

Hometown: I was born in Saint-Jean-de-Braye, France, but traveled a little bit everywhere until my family settled down in Nantes, France

College Education: Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering, currently pursuing a PhD in the same area

Hello! I have been an international student at Purdue University since Fall 2015 and I absolutely love it! I always had a passion for space and I naturally applied to Purdue to expand my knowledge in this field, little did I know I would be staying here to continue onto a PhD.

I started working in the Office of Future Engineers as a Graduate Assistant in 2016 and I couldn't stop working there! The Office has become my second family, and I love talking about it to prospective students and their families.  Being able to advise and help students during this major step in their life is very rewarding, and I hope they are as excited as I was to start college!

In my free time, I usually go to the Co-Rec to exercise, as I love swimming and volleyball. I also joined the Purdue Outing Club and Habitat for Humanity and can't wait to get more involved in those!
